This webpage contains basic information about bioarchaeological research in the Near East conducted by the staff of the Department of Bioarchaeology, University of Warsaw. The survey was initiated in 2001 by Arkadiusz Sołtysiak and so far it included almost 50 different archaeological sites in Iran, Syria, Iraq, Kuwait and Lebanon.
We provide here short descriptions of these sites, summaries of past and ongoing specific projects realized in the framework of the survey as well as biograms of people involved in together with some additional resources.
